An Elephant Safari

It's a bit of a gimmick ... although as it turns out, quite a jolly good idea, to wander around the bush on the back of an elephant. There are quite a few companies that sort this out and it can even sometimes be included as an excursion as part of a longer safari trip.

It isn't the best way to get around and I think a day is enough although you can book for much longer - it does have the old school colonial feel to it, recommended for sure but get back into the 4x4 for more serious bush travel.

So for those looking for that old fashioned, Edwardian Style adventure then it could be a jolly good wheeze!
